5G-TELK-NF
The 5G-TELK-NF project is about setting up a 5G campus network in which future networked applications will be developed.
One of these applications is the highly automated operation of a ground based take-off and landing system for aircrafts without a classic landing gear, as it was successfully used in the REALISE project.
Aircraft without the need for a classic landing gear offer considerable potential for reducing the mass of the aircraft and thus for fuel savings. An essential focus in the 5G-TELK-NF project is the increase in efficiency through further-reaching automation, witch is made possible due to faster and more reliable data transfer in 5G networks.
